Understand what can feed Talvi’s knowledge and which sources have an inline viewer.
Knowledge support and preview support
Your administrator imports content into an agent’s dataset. Get Answers is a question-and-source interface, not a general upload screen. A file can be accepted for ingestion without having a specialised in-browser preview. Availability depends on import configuration, successful processing, and your access to the dataset.
The table below reflects the current dataset-upload allowlist and customer viewer implementation. It is not a promise that every file, codec, archive, or authoring-tool export with these extensions will process successfully.

Additional formats recognised by the viewer
The viewer also recognises some formats that are not in this particular dataset-upload allowlist: audio .oga, .opus, .weba; video .m4v, .ogv; presentation .ppt, .pot, .potx, .pps, .ppsx; and text .log. Such sources may arrive through another supported route. Do not assume these can be uploaded through every import screen.
The viewer can also use the supplied content type, so behavior is not determined only by the filename extension. For example, an audio MIME type can identify a recording that is not in its extension list.
What a location means
PDF / EPUB: a page, sometimes with highlighted matching text. PowerPoint: a slide rendered as a PDF page. DOCX / text: relevant text. Audio / video: a time in seconds. SCORM: a module, lesson/slide, or embedded media location.

If your file is missing
Check the selected agent first. Ask your administrator whether the file was imported and processed successfully, and whether you have access. Renaming an unsupported file extension does not convert its content into a supported format.
